Netflix’s ‘Aggretsuko’ has altered the anime scene in numerous ways. ‘Aggretsuko’ centres around an anthropomorphic red panda named Retsuko, who was created by Yeti for Sanrio, a firm that mostly operates in the kawaii (cute) segment of Japanese pop culture. The 25-year-old appears reserved, non-confrontational, and prudish. She works tirelessly in a trading firm’s accounting department and is frequently used by her strong boss due to her perceived demureness. When Retsuko goes to a small karaoke bar every night to perform death metal, she becomes an entirely different person. When she’s intoxicated, this new Retsuko may be forceful, irritable, and highly opinionated.
On April 20, 2018, Netflix released ‘Aggretsuko,’ which has gotten overwhelmingly positive reviews from reviewers and audiences alike. With a new season of the program just released on Netflix, there has already been a lot of conjecture regarding a possible fourth season of ‘Aggretsuko.’ This is what we know so far.
Aggretsuko Season 4 Release Date: When Will It Air?
Season 3 of ‘Aggretsuko’ aired on Netflix on August 27, 2020. It consists of ten episodes, each of which is approximately 15 minutes long, with the exception of the season finale, which is 23 minutes long.
In terms of Season 4, here’s what we’ve learned so far. There isn’t much information accessible because Netflix is keeping quiet about it. However, given their track record with animated series in general and the show’s enormous popularity, it’ll only be a matter of time until it’s renewed. The show’s renewal was only revealed two months after the first season ended. Season 2 premiered on June 14, 2019, while season 3 was announced in August of the same year. Based on this pattern, we can fairly predict that the renewal will be announced in the next few months, and that season 4 of ‘Aggretsuko’ will premiere in the fall of 2021.
Aggretsuko Season 4 Cast: Who Is in It?

Souta Arai (Japanese) and Josh Petersdorf (American) play her employer, Director Ton, a domestic pig (English). Haida the spotted hyena, Retsuko’s coworker who is romantically interested in her, is voiced by Shingo Kato (Japanese) and Ben Diskin (English). Maki Tsuruta (Japanese) and G.K. Aggretsuko Season 4 Plot: What Is the Content?
Season 2 of ‘Aggretsuko’ ended with Retsuko and her donkey boyfriend, Tadano, breaking up. Season 3 opens with a lonely Retsuko feigning a romance with a virtual unicorn named Seiya and lavishing lavishly on it. Later in the season, she becomes the main vocalist for the OTMGirls, an idol group. As a result, she attracts the attention of a dangerous stalker who follows her about, takes images of her, and posts them on social media. Haida meets Enui, who sincerely likes him, but he can’t get over his affections for Retsuko. When he notices that the stalker is following Retsuko, he chases them down and saves her from the stalker’s pocket knife attack. Retsuko leaves the idol group at the end of the season finale. When Haida asks whether she’s had anything to eat yet, she responds no, implying that this could be the start of their first date.
Expect Haida and Retsuko to have a closer relationship in season 4 of ‘Aggretsuko,’ even if it isn’t romantic. Without Retsuko, the OTMGirls are likely to continue to develop. It’s extremely likely that she’ll return to the group next season. If the ending is any indication, the following season will feature a more balanced and self-assured Retsuko.
